8-Day Irish Adventure Tour

Day 1: Dublin Tour & Book of Kells

Start your tour at Dublin Airport and transfer to your hotel. At 2:00 p.m. tour central Dublin to see stately Georgian houses, colorful squares, public buildings and more. Visit Trinity College’s campus to view the 8th century illuminated manuscript of the Book of Kells.



Day 2: Glendalough & Waterford

Visit 6th century Glendalough monastic site with its round tower and church ruins, set in a picturesque valley in the Wicklow Mountains. Tour the Dunbrody Famine Ship to learn about emigration before driving to Waterford. Sip a welcome drink and discuss your itinerary. After dinner take a brief walking tour around Waterford. (B, D)



Day 3: Waterford Crystal & Titanic Walk

Watch glass blowing and cutting at the House of Waterford Crystal and see unique trophies. Drive to Cobh for a walking tour around places associated with the fatal voyage of RMS Titanic. Visit the Blarney Woollen Mills and, if you wish, head to Blarney Castle on your own to kiss the famous stone. Drive through the rugged scenery to Killarney. (B, D)



Day 4: Ring of Kerry & Skellig Experience

Experience the popular Ring of Kerry tour where the road winds between mountains and coast offering scenic views at every turn. Stop to admire breath-taking beauty and take photos. Visit the Skellig Experience to learn about the nearby rocky islands and drive through Cahirciveen, Waterville and Sneem before returning to Killarney. (B, D)



Day 5: Flying Boats & Cliffs of Moher

Visit Foynes Flying Boat Museum, which recalls the early days of air travel in the 30s and 40s. Irish coffee was first created here. Stop in Bunratty Village before viewing the Cliffs of Moher rising to heights of 700 feet above the wild Atlantic swells. Pass through the Burren Country and around Galway Bay to Galway. (B, D)



Day 6: Yeats’ Grave & Derry Walk

Drive north through the pilgrimage town of Knock to Sligo to view the grave of the Nobel prize-winning poet, W. B. Yeats. Travel around Donegal Bay and through the majestic and rugged scenery of Donegal to Derry. Take a guided walk around the old medieval walls, which completely encircle the old part of the city. Day 7: Giant’s Causeway & Irish Show

Visit the Giant’s Causeway, enormous hexagonal columns formed by volcanic activity over 60 million years ago. Drive to Belfast for a visit to Titanic Belfast; the state-of-the-art attraction is devoted to the development and construction of the ill-fated liner that was built in the nearby docks. Continue south to Dublin city and in the evening drive to a pub for a hearty dinner and traditional Irish songs. (B, D)



Day 8: Back Home from Dublin
Transfer to Dublin Airport in good time to check in for your flight. (B)

Day 1 Arrive at Hong Kong airport.
Guide will meet you at the arrival hall and take you to the shuttle bus. Transfer to L’Hotel Island South in Aberdeen. Free and easy to explore the exciting city until 6 p.m. where you will meet your guide to transfer to the welcome dinner at the traditional sampan boat at Causeway Bay typhoon shelter. Day 2 Enjoy breakfast by a full-day city tour.

The Bund, also called Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu, is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years.

Day 2 Shanghai
Enjoy breakfast before you visit old town, Yuyuan Garden, which is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie, Shanghai and the City Planning Museum to see how this metropolis is developing. Day 1 - Arrive Beijing
Arrive in Beijing the capital of the People's Republic of China. You are welcomed at the airport and escorted to the hotel.

Day 2 - Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace & Beijing Zoo
Start your tour this morning with a visit to the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world and the Forbidden City, the 250-acre palace containing more than 9,000 rooms. Closed to the common people for centuries, it was only opened to the public in 1949. Later, explore the Summer Palace, the retreat of China's royal families for over 2,000 years. Finally, arrive at the Beijing Zoo to visit Panda Hall. (Breakfast and lunch)

Day 3 - Great Wall Excursion
Visit the Great Wall, stopping en route at the Olympic Center for a picture. The Great Wall, built 2,300 years ago and extending 3,750 miles, can be seen from space! Later, visit the Shaolin Kungfu Training School or walk along Sacred Way finishing at a Jade workshop. (Breakfast and lunch)

Day 4 -Temple of Heaven & Hutong Tour
After, visit the Temple of Heaven, possibly the most popular symbol of China. Later visit Beijing's hutongs, or ancient city alleys. The hutongs were built as part of a city building plan that followed the etiquette systems of the Zhou dynasty. (Breakfast and lunch)

Day 5 - Beijing / Xian - City Tour
This morning fly to Xian, once the largest cities in the world. Xian was the national capital for 11 Chinese dynasties and a major link between Asia and Europe. You will be met and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Grand Mosque & Muslim Street and the Bell Tower. (Breakfast and lunch)

Day 6 - Terra Cotta Warriors
Xian captured the interest of the world in 1974 with the discovery of the astonishing third-century BC burial sites of the first emperor to unite China, Qin Shi Huangdi. Visit the archaeological site to see thousands of Terra Cotta Warriors, which have been standing guard over the Imperial Tomb for 2,000 years. Also visit the Ancient City Wall, ceramics and pottery workshop. In the evening, enjoy a Tang dynasty dinner and show. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Day 7 - Xian / Shanghai
Morning at your leisure. In the afternoon, fly to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be transferred to your hotel. (Breakfast)

Day 8 - Shanghai Sightseeing
Your morning tour of Shanghai includes a visit to Yuyuan Garden and the Shanghai Museum. In the afternoon, visit the Bund, a wide, tree-lined avenue along the Huangpu River. Later visit Xintiandi, the famous shopping, eating and entertainment district of Shanghai. (Breakfast and lunch)

Day 9 - Suzhou Sightseeing
Drive this morning to Suzhou, often called the “Venice of the East” for its network of waterways and canals crossed by 300 graceful bridges dating back to the Ming Dynasty. Visit the Garden of Master of Nets and Lingering Garden and Ride on the Grand Canal, China’s ancient commercial waterway. Later return to Shanghai.  (Breakfast and lunch)
